Rant

@Toolbeard: @RuwaydaMustafah @OpPinkPower Sister Saudi Driver's agrée with Jihad responsibilitee?

Nowhere near am I a sister in Saudi, and I only ride bikes, but since I was addressed I responded:

<rant> I can only speak for myself. I don't know what Jihad is and I cannot. I was not raised in a tradition that would have me *know* what it is. But, I am all 4 self-determination with the understanding that that right comes with granting others that same right to self-determination, and others includes women. All contracts need revisiting, maybe even the contracts we never made with animals in farms. We have contracts with pets, clearly, but what about the animals in the food industry? And the forests the planetary work machine divulges and turns into wastelands ... and now that I'm at it, what about Monsanto's Roundup causing evolution of "SuperWeeds" that grow 3 inches a day and gallop through the midwest of the US? Totally irresponsible use of technology .... Pffft, empty, for now. </rant> ~ http://www.tweetdeck.com/twitter/OpPinkPower/~oVy5L

@DarkChanNet: @OpPinkPower rant Moar

Want moar?!? GGrrrrrrrr <rant>Did you wake up to reality yet? To a world gone insane? A world with a system imposed and encroaching on all? A world where people believe some notes with scribbles on 'em mean more than dignity for all our relations on this planet? Where we allow a financial system to exist in which our children are born with a debt? All over the world? A planetary work machine only focused on the bottom-line and efficient use of resources? People, we're IN that Burger King you just ate! A world where we allow our children's minds to become cluttered up in an education system that turns them into neat little cogs for the planetary work machine instead of feeding their inner fire and giving them time to enrich themselves in by them determined directions? Are you selling your children for some comforts? Or maybe, if you live in Africa, and you're a mom alone, do you sell their future so you can survive them now? ... Pfft </rant> ~ http://www.tweetdeck.com/twitter/OpPinkPower/~u4tjj

I couldn't sleep. Had another rant in me

<rant> It is time to leave the planetary work machine and see the real world. We live in a planetary work machine filled with rape, misogyny, discrimination on the basis of gender and gender bashing. A world where we make fun of gay men for their femininity and gay women for their lack of it. A world disrespectful of the feminine nature in all of us. You know, these bodies we are allowed to steward for a short while, supported by Earth. The planet does a tremendous amount of work. It creates soil, cleanses water, and creates the very air we breathe. It entertains, is mysterious and has a lot to teach us. But current generations do not hand off a world as rich as the one we inherited. A world that can be discovered, that can be enjoyed. We hand off a completely irresponsible system with willful ignorance of harm done by our own unconscious actions, including non-action. And no time to reflect. It is insane to do the same thing over and over again, and then expect a different result. It is time to stop waiting for authorities to create a better world. They won't. It is time to stop trying to wake up "others". They won't. It is time to guard our inner fire and for choosing self-responsibility and co-empowerment as a way of life. For looking at our own daily habits to become (even) more conscious of the effects our lives hold for the real planet (for as much as we ever can actually see reality ;). We can work together towards alternative, more respectful energy sources and use them when feasible. No more sugar wars. No more oil wars. No more grabbing. Loving. Without attachments. We can refuse to register our children at birth so they don't have a debt to start with. We can stop believing those pieces of paper with scribbles on them hold any true value, and build our own economic systems and camps. We can ... Do It! Whatever The It Is! </rant> ~ http://www.tweetdeck.com/twitter/OpPinkPower/~wFxXr
